Charlottesville Entrepreneurs and Espresso will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. The format of C-E2 will consist of networking over coffee, a pitch from Lee Elberson of Clayborne Education with time for Q&A, and a "School of Hard Knocks" session with Wendy Hubbard of Inova Solutions.

Co-owner and Chief Operations Officer Lee Elberson was born and raised in southern Louisiana. He joined the Marines at 17 in an effort to find some discipline in his life. Well, he found it and went on to graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in physics and was inducted into the honors society Sigma Pi Sigma. He then went on to obtain a master's degree in chemical physics at the University of Maryland where he taught many classes in the physics department. Lee did his PhD research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory working on relativistic electron transport in a laser-induced plasma. Needless to say, Lee has a love for all things quantifiable. He is an energetic person who has a passion for educating others and he enjoys coaching young adults to achieve their goals. Lee spends his free time training for marathons, playing poker, watching Imax 3D movies, or creating some ridiculously intricate spreadsheet.
Wendy Hubbard Co-Founded Inova Solutions, Inc. in 1984, and serves as its Executive Vice President. Ms. Hubbard has been the driving force behind sales and marketing for Inova Solutions. She has over 20-years depth of knowledge of the call center industry. Before founding Inova Solutions, she was a fund-raiser for private charities and a special educator. Ms. Hubbard holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
