January 2017 CE-2 Meeting

  • i.Lab at UVA 621 Nash Drive Charlottesville, VA 22903 (map)

Charlottesville Entrepreneurs and Espresso will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the i.Lab at UVA. The format of C-E2 will consist of networking over coffee, a pitch from "TQ" Evans with time for Q&A, and lessons learned with Andrea Ayres, Director, Marketing and Communications at Signature Family Wealth Advisors and Founder of Splendora's Gelato.

“TQ” Evans is a Cville transplant from Atlanta, Ga.  Raising 3 energetic boys, along with husband Adam, she understands first-hand the body image struggles of motherhood. While working full time as a Director for People Operations in the Healthcare Technology field, she came up with the idea to solve a common everyday problem that many women suffer from, the dreaded  “mommy tummy”. She was accepted into Charlottesville’s Community Investment Collaborative (CIC) and throughout the course of the program, learned the fundamental entrepreneurial skills, to help bring her idea to life. TQ’s product is a high-waist compression legging, marketed specifically to new moms. She aspires to have her leggings become a staple item, in the closet of every new mom.  "
